Process of keyword Planner
The process of using Google Keyword Planner to research and select keywords for your Google Ads campaign can be broken down into several steps:
Sign in to your Google Ads account and click on the "Tools & Settings" option in the top navigation menu.
Select "Keyword Planner" from the dropdown menu.
Choose between the two options available: "Discover new keywords" or "Get search volume and forecasts".
If you choose the "Discover new keywords" option, you will be prompted to enter a seed keyword or phrase related to your product or service. You can also enter a landing page URL or a product category to generate keyword ideas.
Once you enter your seed keyword or other relevant information, click on "Get results". You will be presented with a list of keyword ideas along with important metrics such as search volume, competition, and estimated cost per click (CPC).
Use the filtering and sorting options to refine your keyword list based on factors such as search volume, competition, and relevance to your business.
Review the keyword ideas and select the most relevant and valuable ones for your campaign. You can add them to a plan or directly to an ad group.
Use the "Get search volume and forecasts" option to get more detailed information about a specific keyword. This will show you historical search volume trends, seasonality, and estimated traffic and cost data for that keyword.
Use the keyword ideas and data provided by Keyword Planner to refine your ad targeting, bidding, and messaging in your Google Ads campaign.
Overall, the process of using Keyword Planner involves researching and selecting keywords that are relevant to your business, have sufficient search volume, and are likely to convert into clicks and conversions for your Google Ads campaign.
